What is the EDiRTE?
The EDiR Training Evaluation (EDiRTE) is a self-assessment tool designed to evaluate the core knowledge of General Radiology in 2nd and 3rd-year residents. It is based on Level I of the European Training Curriculum (ETC) and includes:
- 100 Multiple Response Questions (MRQs)
- 10 Short Cases (SCs)
Two Versions Available:
▸ EDiRTE for Individuals
This version is accessible for free and is integrated into the ESR European Training Curriculum for Radiology.

A paid version with more cases is also available via the EDiR app.
▸ EDiRTE for Heads of Training (HoT)
Institutions may request access for their residents. The test is administered using proctoring software with identity verification.

- Anonymised performance reports for the HoT
- Certificate of completion for successful candidates
